Host Gator

HostGator is seeking an outstanding user experience designer to join our Development Team. Our web team works closely with our project managers to create high converting web applications and components. Best practices and design methods will be utilized to ensure the success of projects. Flexibility, adaptability, and the capability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work on tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual. Responsibilities: 

  • Creation of visually appealing, intuitive, high converting website designs and process flows with an emphasis on preserving the HostGator “Look and Feel”
  • Operate effectively as a member of the development and design team
  • Operate effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements, fixes and incorporation of feedback from stakeholders
  • Communicate with the Project Manager efficiently on progress and/or delays
  • Demonstrates creative, technical and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively in both technical and business environments

 Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Experience in designing web applications with high conversion
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent web design with a high degree of detail
  • Solid understanding of navigation and GUI for maximizing usability
  • High familiarity of CS5/CS6 applications
  • HTML/CSS/JS experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment
  • BS/BA University degree a plus but not required
