Linux Journal Takes on New Design

SEATTLE, WA -- SSC Publications, publisher of the award-winning monthly magazine Linux Journal and its sister publication Embedded Linux Journal, is pleased to announce that Linux Journal has received a new format and design.

Linux Journal, the Linux community's long-standing source for Linux information, has undergone a renovation. The new easier-to-read format will make the magazine more accessible to readers. The September issue (#89) of Linux Journal, the first issue of the magazine in which the new design has been implemented, has received an overwhelmingly positive response.

Art director Lydia Kinata commented, "I'm a big believer in the beauty of functionality, especially for technical applications. Based on principles of simplicity and consistency, we've created a new design for Linux Journal that will help the reader easily find and comprehend the information they need."
