What's It?

Drill down—Ability of a database application program to provide additional information on a subject by highlighting the subject with the cursor. Once highlighted, pressing enter or clicking on the highlighted area with the mouse, causes a new window of information to be displayed.

Hotplug disk—Makes it possible to physically remove a disk from the system without turning the power off or shutting down the system.

Hotswap disk—When a disk fails, the controller automatically reconstructs all information from the failed disk onto the hotswap disk.

RAID—A method of obtaining fault tolerance and correcting errors by writing data to multiple disks.
