Introducing Linux Journal Team Member: Candy Beauchamp
Accountant
Candy Beauchamp, based out of Austin Texas, came onboard with Linux Journal in May 2004. With over a decade of accounting experience and a strong background in computer technology, Candy oversees all of the accounting functions for Linux Journal.Candy is a Virtual Assistant (VA) that specializes in accounting for businesses. She got her start in the construction and manufacturing industries and was mentored by an EA while living in Hawaii, as well as attending the University of Hawaii. She moved to Austin in 1998 and opened her own bookkeeping firm, OffAssist, in 2002.
Candy currently serves on the Board of Directors for the International Virtual Assistants Association (IVAA) and is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers (AIPB).
