[Robert Love] Robert Love

Robert Love is Senior Kernel Engineer in the Ximian Desktop Group at Novell, Inc. and a Contributing Editor for Linux Journal.

He is involved in and passionate about both the GNOME and Linux kernel communities. His kernel projects include the preemptive kernel, process scheduler, VM enhancements, inotify, and the kernel event layer. He is the author and maintainer of schedutils and GNOME Volume Manager.

Robert is the author of the book Linux Kernel Development (SAMS, 2004 and 2005).

He has a B.S. in Computer Science and a B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Florida.
