Linux Foundation Takes Summit to the End

The Linux Foundation — the not-for-profit consortium that keeps our Fearless Leader Linus 'a-coding, among other things — has announced that for the first time, it is sponsoring an End User Collaboration Summit aimed at bringing together "sophisticated users" with the Linux leadership. Among the highlights already announced for the two-day conference — October 13 & 14 in glamorous New York City — include a keynote from Anthony Williams of Wikinomics fame, talks between top Linux developers and end users, a discussion group with Red Hat's Product & Technologies President Paul Cormier, an address from Ron Hovsepian, Novell CEO, a Q&A with the Executive Director of the Linux Foundation.

More information, a conference agenda, and registration is available from the conference website.
