The Fifteen Year Vintage Finally Arrives

It's finally time to uncork Wine 1.0, a full-bodied vintage fifteen years in the making. With the arrival of this master-blended creation, users now have the features they've been longing for, including the ability to run some of the most desired Windows applications on Linux systems.

What exactly has the past fifteen years gained us? Photoshop CS2, for one, which just happens to be the Windows app most frequently requested to be ported for Linux. Microsoft Office 2007 is coming along nicely, and Outlook and Internet Explorer are said to be "drastically improved." Interested parties can pick it up from Wine HQ, though the rush to get a sample has apparently sent some of the sommelier's servers the way of the Firefox fallout.
