Good versus Evil: The JavaScript Wars

Microsoft's IE chief Chris Wilson is up in arms about JavaScript, and he's set his sights on Brendan Eich, Mozilla's CTO. It's definitely a battle to watch, as Eich is only the creator of JavaScript. Way to go Wilson: take on the creator himself.

Of course, battling the creator is nothing new for Big Evil, but this one seems rather silly, given the Microsoft has never been particularly concerned about standards compliance. Now Wilson is going after Mozilla, claiming that they've changed JavaScript so much that it should really be a new language, and that Mozilla didn't bother to listen to concerns about JavaScript development.

Really? The Open Source company is the one that doesn't listen?
