More for paper? Yes. Any charge for electronic? Definitely No.

I couldn't possibly be adding anything new to the sentiment already expressed here, but maybe weighing in will blunt the frustration a little. Real paper is plainly *not* the same experience as virtual -- not even close. I'm not really even sure I understand the point of a commercial electronic format. I am very doubtful LJ will be able to distinguish themselves from the enormous mass of freely available material that will continue to be available at large.

I would have paid more for paper, had that been an option. I will pay nothing for electronic data.

I'm seriously disappointed.

A digital magazine. Dam I paid for the paper, I can get FREE digital content from multiple sources. MISTAKE!

They went digital and don;t charge for their digital content. If Linux Journal thinks I'll pay $29.95 a year for digital content, they are crazy. I am going to cancel my subscription, I paid for a paper copy, if they aren't going to send a paper copy, I expect a full refund.

Digiatl should be free, just like Linux Magazine

I used to be both a Linux Magazine and Linux Journal subscriber, I was disappointed when Linux Magazine quit publishing a paper magazine. They went digital and don;t charge for their digital content. If Linux Journal thinks I'll pay $29.95 a year for digital content, they are crazy. I am going to cancel my subscription, I paid for a paper copy, if they aren't going to send a paper copy, I expect a full refund. It was a contract, I had a 100 issue subscription, and I expect a FULL refund or the full amount, not just unmailed issues.

Red Hat White Paper: Using an Open Source Framework to Catch the Bad Guy

Built-in forensics, incident response, and security with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6

Every security policy provides guidance and requirements for ensuring adequate protection of information and data, as well as high-level technical and administrative security requirements for a system in a given environment. Traditionally, providing security for a system focuses on the confidentiality of the information on it. However, protecting the data integrity and system and data availability is just as important. For example, when processing United States intelligence information, there are three attributes that require protection: confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
