My list of must-haves

My list of must-haves is:

CCK
filefield
imagefield
image api
ImageCache
pathauto
token
admin menu
mollom

nice to have:

flag
views attach
views bulk operations
webform
vertical tabs - just a nice UI improvement
scheduler
quick tabs
nodequeue
LoginToboggan
better formats
context - this is really cool and lets you customize block placement across your site based on various conditions

This is not a complete list of modules that I use, but I think this is a good representation of modules I think highly of and recommend for lots of different use cases.
