Does ASUS Transformer Prime play MKV 1080p HD video?

Is Transformer Prime to play MKV 1080p contents? If yes, why should my TF Prime play MKV without audio? And some MKV files play in slow motion?

The fact is, Transformer Prime plays MKV files, but not all of them. MKV is only a container format that envelopes video, audio and subtitle.
