Convert Panasonic MTS to MOV on Mac for Final Cut Express 4

I was informed by my friend with the problem to log and transfer HD videos from Panasonic HDC-TM700 to FCE4. It could be the recording profile with 280Mbps issue, which Final Cut does not support yet, or the NTSC and PAL issue. I think most of the Panasonic users who bought TM700 might face the same problem and here I would like to share with you my solution to get it through.
