PyCon is the world's largest gathering of Python programmers, drawing about 1,000 Pythonistas annually for an intense, user-organized festival of everything Python. The program includes standard talks, Lightning Talks, Open Spaces, keynotes, tutorials, hands-on laboratories, an exhibit hall, and development sprints. PyCon also serves as the worldwide Python community's "town hall" meeting, an unparalleled chance to meet and talk with the makers and users of Python itself and of a huge array of Python-based software.
