New Relic and Standing Cloud Partner To Automate and Optimize the Management of Applications in the Cloud
SAN FRANCISCO — November 8, 2012 — New Relic, Inc., the SaaS-based cloud application performance management provider , today announced that Standing Cloud, a leading provider of application marketplace and management solutions, has added New Relic to its Application Marketplace, a growing portfolio of value-added solutions and services for cloud providers, ISVs and application users. Standing Cloud users now have free access to the 24x7 performance monitoring capabilities available with New Relic’s Standard Service Package, which is fully integrated with the Standing Cloud management console. Customers can also easily upgrade to New Relic pro to take advantage of advanced diagnostics and reporting features.
New Relic's performance monitoring provides instant, comprehensive information that is vital to the development and deployment teams responsible for the management of web applications running in the cloud and the data center. Standing Cloud users can leverage the increased visibility provided by New Relic to make more informed decisions regarding their infrastructure to ensure optimal performance of their hosted applications and web sites.
Standing Cloud's Application Marketplace is an easy-to-use catalog of 100+ applications, software, development tools and deployment options, fully pre-configured to run instantly and reliably on multiple cloud infrastructures. Once an application is deployed, automated application lifecycle management features give users an easy way to manage the application on a continuing basis, including monitoring, scaling, back-ups, upgrades, auto-restore and more.

Standing Cloud users can begin using New Relic immediately by signing up today directly from the Standing Cloud management console. Simply choose the New Relic add-on, select ‘Create a New Relic Account’, enter your information and click on ‘Install Add-on.’
New Relic Standard, free to Standing Cloud users, includes full functional application performance management including server and real user monitoring.
New Relic Pro offers an advanced feature set that includes monitoring of key transactions and code-level diagnostics. Flexible pricing is available for a broad range of time commitments from annual contracts to hourly increments for cloud app developers who use New Relic for testing applications in development.
