Kuklomenos—Weird Space Shooter?

Kuklomenos has to be one of the weirdest games I've ever come across. I'm not doing a full review here, because I simply can't figure it out! If you want to compile it, go right ahead; it's easy with the usual ./configure, make, make install routine. But, once you get into the game, be prepared to be puzzled. I think it's a space shooter, because the background is black, but that's just a guess! Your goal is to fight off blobs with a strange control scheme that involves zooming, rotation and fire accuracy—all in a playing style that's like Asteroids rewritten by a French existentialist on crack. Intrigued? Check it out.

I have played this game over

I have played this game over and over and it is definitely one of the most difficult I have ever played. This game about club penguin toys is unique and brings a fresh perspective to gaming.

The little blue circle by the sheild bar tells you when you can shoot a pod. Have as many pods going out to capture nodes as possible, then defend them instead of having to defend yourself which is harder. Pods you own will nuke the blue guys that try to get them. When a pod is filled, shoot it with 3. club penguin

This is a pretty neat game. The initial mystery adds to it, to a degree. Do read the README though. I finally got a victory, and the key to that was understanding how the opponent behaves, and the bit about pods.

The opponent will chase you but it will also chase your pods. The little blue circle by the sheild bar tells you when you can shoot a pod. I like the game.
Kind of a Myst-Experience for a space shooter ;)
No clue what to do, but it's fun and after some time you get an idea.

I like the fact that it is SDL. So I enjoyed the Mac-Clone!

Most IDEs come with built-in

Most IDEs come with built-in “support” for lots of programming languages. Although for a lot of them, support means it colorizes your code. Eclipse is a bit different. It doesn't come with built-in support for many languages, or any, depending on the version you download. Support is provided via Eclipse Plugins. And normally, “support” means more than just colorizing your code. You usually get something that understands your language. It can show you an outline of the functions wholesale lingerie and data in your code; it can help you refactor code; it can show where something is defined, and it integrates with the language's debugger.
