I'm with you... its hard enough to get some privacy these days without a phone ringing in your pocket. I've got an older Palm T/X that does all I need it to without the annoying side effects of a phone - such as 24 hour availability.

I love my Freerunner and it was my main phone for over a year. But, I've had my Nokia N900 for just over a year now and I love it. The hardware may not be Open-Source, but I have just as much software power with Debian in a Chroot, which gives me everything in the Debian Repose. Plus, its hardware is a lot faster then the Freerunner.
