Another program you might try is Gourmet Recipe Manager, aimed at the GNOME desktop. http://grecipe-manager.sourceforge.net

Thanks for both programs, i really do enjoy cooking and one of my computer (with linux) only asks to become my cooking central! It's always good to get a little hand in the kitchen, at least to find a good dish idea with what you have left in the fridge!
