Linux Journal Launches New Forum for Vendors to Publish Press Releases: pr.linuxjournal.com

SEATTLE, WA -- SSC Publications, publisher of the award-winning monthly magazine Linux Journal, is proud to announce the launch of pr.linuxjournal.com. The web site is dedicated to the disbursement of information about Linux-related products, services and events to the Linux community.

"With pr.linuxjournal.com vendors will be able to get the news out about their products and services most directly and effectively to the Open Source and Linux communities," commented SSC Publications VP of Marketing & Sales Carlie Fairchild.

The site and service, the latest addition to Linux Journal's web network, is free to all. Vendors can easily submit their press releases by visiting http://pr.linuxjournal.com/ and following the "Submit a Press Release" link. All submissions relevant to the Linux or Open Source communities are welcome.

As a premium service, Linux Journal print advertisers have the ability to post their company's logo along with their press release. The logo will be prominently featured next to their press release headline. For additional information about this, site please visit http://pr.linuxjournal.com/.
