Linux Journal Announces Winner of Linux Lunacy Contest

SEATTLE, WA -- SSC Publications, publisher of the award-winning magazine Linux Journal and its bi-monthly sister publication Embedded Linux Journal, is proud to announce that John Sullivan of Virginia was selected from over 200 entries as the winner of Linux Journal's recent contest, "Win a trip for two on Linux Lunacy".

A Linux Journal subscriber since 1998, John Sullivan has also been an avid Linux user for the past five years. This can be proven simply by looking at some of the ways Sullivan has put Linux to work: workstation, webserver, search engine, statistical analysis, and home automation. "I would like to thank all the people and companies who make Linux and Open Source software a viable alternative to proprietary software. It makes my job easier and much more fun," commented Sullivan.
